Then in 18, two weekly magazines named ‘Subudhi Prakash’ and ‘Mysore Vrittant Bodhini’ were also started in Belgaum and Mysore respectively. It was a fortnightly and one major objective of this newspaper was to propagate Christianity. The newspaper was ‘Mangalooru Samachara’ which was started by a missionary named ‘Hermann Moegling’.
